Intention and dreams

Do your intentions flow directly from your heart and spirit, or are they products of your thinking logical brain that knows what’s best, what you should, what you should not?

The part of your brain trained up by your schools and parents and society knows the “rules”. It knows what is physically possible and impossible, (you learned it in a book) what you can and cannot, how to get ahead, which careers will bring you the most money, and who is misbehaving according to your code of conduct.

To be effective potent and powerful, your intentions must flow from your heart and spirit, the part of you where dreams are created. The part of you that existed before your cultural training set in and upset the balance of your creativity and grace and flow and restricted you self concept.

When you tap into this reservoir of creativity and power, you can imagine yourself moving beyond old limitations. Then you can set your intentions for your life based on expansion and possibilities you dream of.

Leave behind the old restrictive rules and boxes and limitations you’ve placed on your dreams!

When you can feel it, dream it, imagine it, define it, and intend it, you can become it.

Reconnect to Source

You are beings of light and energy, meant to connect your light with that of source, to form a column of clear pure light in which you are connected to the earth, centered in your body, and aligned with source.

Take me, the mighty cottonwood tree as a model. My deep roots anchor me to the earth. I am centered in my truck and lower branches. My leaves and buds and uppermost branches reach toward the sun and align themselves with the light.

When your light becomes clouded and you feel disconnected from source, you may suffer, you may become addicted to something or someone to distract from your feelings of separation.

The light of source is always there for you, shining brightly! When you feel disconnected, it is for you to find a way to plug into the light, current and power of source.

Humans have devised many ways over centuries to reconnect with source. Perhaps singing from your heart will do it for you, or creating visual art or making music or writing.

You might find your connection to source as you follow the guidance and wisdom of your heart, spend time with a beloved friend, work at a task you love with focus and dedication, pour your heart out in prayer, do yoga, spend time with a beloved child, work with plants… doing what you love…

Dear ones, please know that Source is not “out there”. Source is easily accessible to each and every living creature on this planet and that includes you! Source is within you all! Think of source as a feeling of expansion, of joy, timeless flow…of grace…of trust in life…

When you find a way to reconnect with the light within you that is source, you heal yourselves and know your oneness with all that is. Your energy, health and intuition will improve. You will become who you are meant to be.

Begin this new year thinking, discerning, and discovering the reason you came here in a body. Recommit yourself to this passionate purpose.

You must look below the surface of your life for the answer. Making a lot of money is a surface effect of your purpose. Prestige and fame are surface effects…

Dig deeper to your core spirit knowing, the reason that gives your days meaning, that makes your heart sing, that inspires you above all else. Ask your spirit helpers, guides, angels, and ancestors to assist if you don’t know what your purpose is.

Let the answer come to you over time. What fascinates you? What fills you with light and passion? What activities cause you to lose track of time and enter the timeless place of flow and creativity… the deep well that is always filled, no matter how much you withdraw…

When you are tapped into this well of creativity and purpose, you will never run out of ideas, plans, or inspirations. You will be filled by life and often feel wonderful and blissful while you are aligned with your purpose.

Your gifts are needed here and now!

Your uplifting feelings and creations will flow from you as gifts to bless the web of life!

What are you waiting for? When inspiration flows to you and through you, it is your life and Source calling you to action!

Get your body, mind and spirit moving on your soul satisfying inspired projects and ideas. Take and make the time to sustain your focus! If you have to wait, capture the flow with a note, a drawing, a reminder of the idea, then come back when you have uninterrupted quality time for yourself.

As humans you can tune your frequency to source and receive inspiration. You have been divinely created to translate what you receive into art, music, cooking, decorating, dance, writing, design, building, creating of every description…

Honor your divine partnership with source and let your inspirations flow! Begin by tuning your frequency to Source, receiving your amazing ideas based on your talents, skills and preferences.  Next map them out into plans, then decide on the action steps to take.  Finally, do the work- take the action that will move your inspired ideas into concrete reality!

Creating in divine partnership with source will satisfy your soul and bless this Earth.

Too many ideas?

Does your brain fizz with an outpouring of ideas and inspirations? Are there too many to capture and latch onto and sort out, and bring to life?

You can ask the universe for the clarity, focus, and stamina to manage your many blessings and creative inspirations wisely and well!

Too many creative projects swirling around in your brain at once and you are bursting at the seams, overwhelmed with the cacophony of competing ideas -unable to move forward with any of them.

If you can focus on just one or two and go deep, you can give your project the attention and focus and follow through needed to make it successful and satisfy your soul.

Perhaps you can imagine a storage cabinet of a style and material that pleases you with many drawers shelves and slots. Imagine yourself choosing one idea or plan that lights you up. Then imagine filing the other plans in your cabinet for later, then shutting the doors or drawers so only your chosen plan is visible. Now see yourself giving your full unbroken attention to your chosen project and carrying it through to completion.

Feel the feelings of that!

The river of ideas and inspirations is a form of blessing from the divine, letting you know that you are tuned in to the inexhaustible flow of creative power that moves life forward. Your challenge is to choose one or two projects at a time that light you up with inspiration and bring them to completion.

Being and Doing

Dear ones, do you find a balance in life between being and doing? Too much of one, not enough of the other and you are out of balance, off kilter, not as effective as you might be.

To be is to sit quietly, to allow life to flow through you without resistance, to attract through your energy field, to set intentions- the internal agenda, to align with source, to be mindful of your body, to draw that which you desire to your precious self.

To do is to take physical action, to reach out into the world with confidence, to make your inspirations manifest in the world, to breath life into your ideas, using the tools and techniques and materials that best suit you.

Are you full of inspiration and creative ideas, yet unable to follow through and carry them out? Or, do you exert yourself and labor all day long without any knowledge of what is happening inside you? Are you out in the world putting plans into action, yet not knowing how to sit still at times and enjoy the beauty within and around you?

Are you mostly a be-er or a doer? Notice your inclinations and try to create a balance between action and introspection, between the outer world of activity and achievement, and your inner landscape of inspiration, allowing, and creative visions.

Tree-like focus

Dear ones, do you wish to be effective in life, to get things done, to feel the soul satisfaction that comes with accomplishment?

If so, then try this on for size… You can do so much when you remain fully in your body, fully in the here and now, fully focused and engaged. If your mind wanders, if you try to “multitask”, your effectiveness is greatly diminished, your energy divided, your results scattered.

You can’t be two places at once and expect to live fully!

GCW’s prescription: Do one thing at a time – Like a tree! Train yourself to root and anchor your energy down into the earth, to pull in the Earth energy for the stamina and groundedness you need.  When you have pulled in Earth energy, then reach up with your energetic “branches” to absorb the inspiration and clarity that will keep you excited about your project.

It is through single minded tree-like focus that you create great things!

Laughter

Even though you can’t see touch, smell, or taste it, laughter bubbles up through your body, cleansing and clearing your energy and leaving you refreshed.  It can reset your mood, and lighten your day, connect you to higher vibrations.

Find reasons to laugh each day. OK, you don’t need a reason!   Kids have never needed a reason!  (If you do need a reason, do it because it feels good!)

Make laughter a daily practice to uplift your spirit and connect you to source, for contrary to majority opinion, source loves a good joke! 

The only rule, as always, is do not joke or laugh at the expense of another person or group of people.  Laugh to include, connect, and uplift not to exclude or put down.  Remember the golden rule…

What inspires you?

Inspiration is the life’s breath of All-That-Is breathing through you.  It is a partnership of All-That-Is and you with your unique gifts, talents, skills, and interests.

Inspiration is like the fairy tale pot that would keep on boiling, producing a never ending supply of food.  Inspiration is food for your soul!

When you attune your energy to Source, you open a channel, a never ending supply of energy, ideas, opportunities, amazing coincidences that satisfy your soul  – When in partnership with Source, you create infinitely more than you could by yourself.

When you must use effort, striving, and force (so beloved in your culture) to get things done, this indicates that you have separated yourself from Source in some way.  This is a very human thing to do.

When you were born, you were one with Source.  Then you may have lost the connection while growing older and felt separate, disconnected.  Now that you are aware there is more to life than going it alone you can reunite your energy with All-That-Is and feel whole again.

Attune yourself to the frequency of All-That-Is. Like an orchestra tuning up, Source is the concert master. Bring your vibrational tone into harmony with Source and make exquisite music together!

 

Stand in your light

Are you ready to come out of the shadows, take a chance, and stand in your light?

It takes guts, stamina, courage, commitment, and willingness to be seen and heard. Are you willing to risk rejection from others who don’t understand?

When you stand in your light, you know that you are deeply rooted to the earth!  You know your full creative power, and your will, aligned with all that is. You feel the power and beauty of your expanded heart.  You speak with  a clear strong voice.  You trust your intuitive knowing.  You a maintain and nurture a strong connection to the divine.

If you own a human body, you have been given these gifts.

You can develop your gifts – expand them, embrace them and emerge into your full light and power – at your pace, in the timing that suits you.

These gifts, when acknowledged and nurtured will guide you to your highest good.  What is in your highest good is in the highest good of all that is! Strengthen yourself and you strengthen the web of all things!
