Crossroads

Do you find yourself at a crossroads?

You can continue as you have been, or try something new. You can step out of your comfort zone. You can move away from the familiar, try something different from your accustomed actions, thoughts, beliefs, and ways of relating to others.

Try a new path, see where it takes you. Trust. Take heart and try something new when life has lost its color and magic when you do not like where you stand.

Grandmother Cottonwood

I see walkers bikers runners zip downhill past me without losing their momentum. Taking the easy road. Others slow down and take time to notice me and my companion trees. Some of those who slow down on the path will take the gentle turning into the open meadows and continue in a new direction.

The sun at their back as they continue down the hill is now lighting their side as they continue to the south.

Changing your perspective, the angle of light, your inner landscape, changing your direction does not need to threaten your place or overthrow your entire life, but can bring you fresh ideas and new energy.

Even a slight change in direction can open up delightful new possibilities. Do not change direction to escape and deny your reality but to heal and see it from a new perspective to renew and regenerate and bring fresh energy to your life.

Start with baby steps – New ways of relating to others, a new positive belief about yourself. Stir things up a little, and have some fun.

Too many ideas?

Does your brain fizz with an outpouring of ideas and inspirations? Are there too many to capture and latch onto and sort out, and bring to life?

You can ask the universe for the clarity, focus, and stamina to manage your many blessings and creative inspirations wisely and well!

Too many creative projects swirling around in your brain at once and you are bursting at the seams, overwhelmed with the cacophony of competing ideas -unable to move forward with any of them.

If you can focus on just one or two and go deep, you can give your project the attention and focus and follow through needed to make it successful and satisfy your soul.

Perhaps you can imagine a storage cabinet of a style and material that pleases you with many drawers shelves and slots. Imagine yourself choosing one idea or plan that lights you up. Then imagine filing the other plans in your cabinet for later, then shutting the doors or drawers so only your chosen plan is visible. Now see yourself giving your full unbroken attention to your chosen project and carrying it through to completion.

Feel the feelings of that!

The river of ideas and inspirations is a form of blessing from the divine, letting you know that you are tuned in to the inexhaustible flow of creative power that moves life forward. Your challenge is to choose one or two projects at a time that light you up with inspiration and bring them to completion.
