Come back to your roots

When you come back to your roots, you rediscover your true self. The soul of you, the deep center of you that knows your purpose here, that knows and accepts the truth of you you are.

You were born with this wisdom, you knew your spiritual roots as a child. Can you remember?

When you live from your true self, your roots nourish you and connect you to the Earth, your home and your spirit. The roots of your true self are roots of integrity, of self respect, of knowing who you are.

Only humans can choose to appear as something they’re not, to misunderstand and cut off their connection to spirit, to disconnect from their true selves.

Then you are like a tree without roots, vulnerable to storms, high winds, and stress, weaker than you might be, disconnected from your strength and source of nourishment.

Dear ones, if you have become disconnected from your wise self, you can renew yourself and regain wholeness. The damage is not permanent, you can regenerate your life and regain your power.

You are flexible and resilient. You are a survivor! Send you roots deep and reach to the light!

Ego fear

Set aside your fear – the fear that keeps you small, keeps you invisible, keeps you from your light and power. Tuck it in, kiss it goodnight, read it a bedtime story. Now shut the door to the room where your ego fear resides and go on about your business of living in your full power.

Your ego fear is the voice of your past, trying to keep you safe, comfortable, perhaps invisible and small. It means well… but you have outgrown it!

When you speak and communicate with your ego fear, do you use confident clear language – or do you sound tentative, indecisive, unsure of yourself? Remember that you are the boss, the parent. Your wise self is meant to be in control.

Let the fear know you hear it, feel it, understand it, as you would an anxious child. Let it know you will still do what you mean to do. You will do what needs to be done, what you have been called to do whether the fear agrees or not.

You live in the here and now! In the past, your fear was warranted, it may have been needed for physical and emotional survival.

Now that you are an adult, find compassion for the fear from your past that tries to keep you small. Acknowledge it, feel it, then step into your power and shine your light!
