Does the familiar path no longer feed your soul? Do you feel energized and inspired by the possibilities of the new?

You are beings of free will. When you choose, choose with your whole self. Line up your heart, mind and spirit with your new direction. Don’t look back.

Leave the past and regret behind so you can fully inhabit and experience the new landscape you’ve chosen. Give yourself time to attune yourself to your new reality and  immerse yourself in it.

Will you take the first step in the life affirming, soul satisfying, self loving direction your heart has chosen, leaving all doubt, fear and timidity behind? Will you choose a new path?

Contentment

Do you fear that you will lose your edge, become complaisant, or a lie-about if you allow yourself to be content? (Those of you who push, jockey, and fight for position in life will need to cover your ears and eyes for a moment.)

Contentment is peace and peace is your true nature. Contentment is a feeling that all is right with the world. “All is right within me. I want for nothing in this moment. I feel good in this moment. All is well in this moment.”

Yet, in the next moment, you may find yourself remembering a want, a need, trying to solve a problem, or worrying about what is next for you.

Can you hold the memory of the feeling of contentment in your heart? Then you can bring it back to mind when you want to feel peace again.

You might remember the feeling of contentment you had while sitting on your porch watching golden patches of sunlight light up the trees in late evening.

You might remember the feeling of contentment while walking in the woods on a cool summer morning listening to birdsong.

You might remember the feeling of contentment you had when holding your new grandchild in your arms.

Savor these moments of your precious life and inhabit them fully, for they are your life. Remember the sights, smells, feelings and emotions of contentment and bring them to your awareness.  Pay attention, absorb the feelings into your heart and breathe in the peace you feel.

And now I ask on behalf of the trees and all living things: Can you be content with the earth and her living creatures, her rooted beings, her stones and bedrock without bulldozing the sacred trees, scraping away the precious soil, paving over the prairies, felling the forests, scarring the landscape with ugly buildings, making war on those you do not understand?

Dear ones, these acts  reflect discontent, a pulling away from your center.  They are not you at your best, not a reflection of your higher self.  Find gentler ways to live and interact with this earth and her people, and we will all thrive.

Those who find contentment and peace within will live in harmony with nature, with the earth, with others, and with all that is.

There comes a time when you must acknowledge that you need the help of a higher power; that you need the wisdom and compassion of all that is to heal yourself, to solve your problems in surprising and miraculous ways with soul satisfying results.

Dear ones, you cannot do it all by yourselves! Give up the illusion of control and allow the wisdom, grace, and peace of spirit to work in your lives.

You will have access to all wisdom, all possibilities, all combinations of factors, all inspirations and ideas. It is having the entire universe at your call.

Let go of your grasp on that which is holding you back! Let go of your narrow picture of how things will happen.

Allow yourselves to be filled with fresh inspiration and energy. Allow the amazing upwelling of spirit in your precious lives!

Enjoy wasting time

It is OK to rest and relax and waste time! It is OK not to know. It is OK not to have all the answers. It is OK to stay home from the party, to enjoy your own company.

It is OK to be at loose ends. It is OK to not know your next step. It is OK to take a siesta. It is OK to empty your mind as you study the shifting sunlight and shade under a magnificent tree.

Give yourself time and space. Release the pressure you place on yourself to constantly decide,to judge to think and do.

Don’t worry that you will become a habitual or perpetual lie-about, for that will never happen! You will receive inspiration for fabulous new ideas or take action soon enough. In the meantime, give in to gravity and take a nap!

Part of the pleasure of being human is the state of grace when you simply exist in the moment without thought of past or future, without worry, without analysis, without argument.

So, sink your bare toes in the dewy grass or a sandy beach, and throw off your stuffy adult responsibilities for a few hours.

Are you bent out of shape?

Do you tie yourself in knots, bend backwards, reach out beyond your comfort zone into a state of anxiety and discomfort for any reason?

Do you fear that others will suffer if you do not put in superhuman efforts to “save” them? If so, you are over-reaching. Your circle of influence and power can only include yourself and your small children if you have them.

You can plant seeds for others with your words and actions, but you cannot make them grow. You can be an example with your own grounding, centering and focus, but you cannot make others “get it”.

No matter how much you love another adult, it is not your job to save them from themselves, show them “the way”, correct them, control or command them.

Others may learn from your example, or they may not.  Focus on you and your precious life!

Use your mighty power of focus and your alignment with source to find your own way. Correct your own course when you waver. Focus your attention on your own thoughts, words, and actions. If a change is needed, take action and do what is required.

Command your own energy, thoughts, words, and actions to create an empowered life for yourself.

Access your power!

Does your mind outpace your body? Do you feel spacey and disconnected?

If your mind races ahead and leaves your body behind, you are living in the future and forgetting the present; neglecting your grounding in the here and now, your need for earth energy, for your full and complete presence in this time and place. Don’t jump or skip ahead!

If your body rushes ahead and leaves your mind in the dust, you are living in the past ; disembodied, perhaps getting yourself into situations that do not serve you well. Perhaps you feel stuck.

Can you bring your body mind and heart together and concentrate all your focus in this moment? Can you keep it together?

The present is where your power lies! When all of you is in the present.  This is the state of flow, where you are plugged into your power supply – All that is – and you have access to boundless energy.

Here’s a practice for you to help you pay attention to what is now. Choose one of the 5 senses: feel, taste, touch, smell, sight. Focus for a few minutes on only that information coming into your body and mind through that sense.

Can you narrow your focus that much, aligning body and mind and balancing your consciousness in this point in time? Can you gather all of yourself, your scattered energy, thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and know your wholeness?

In this way, you train yourself to be wholly present, to empower yourself and tap in to amazing energy!

Worried?

Worry is like a thick gray cloud around your mind and heart; a self-generated fog machine.

Dear ones, worry wears you down, ages you dims your clarity and light, weakens you.

If you are worried, you are not living in the present. You are living in your head projecting scenarios and events which will most likely never occur, which you most likely have no power over!

In short, you are wasting your time and energy when you worry! You are scaring yourself with self manufactured drama for no good reason.

If you are worried about the future, get the facts you need to solve your problems and face them head on! Take informed action within your locus of control. Make plans based on the facts. Set boundaries within your circle of influence. Live in the here and now.

Inhabit your body, place awareness on your feelings, sensations, your senses, the flow of life through your body, the natural world around you. Come into the here and now where your power lies!

Your sweet spot

When you are energized, when you have no sense of time passing, when you are living in the moment, enthused, and inspired, you are centered in your sweet spot. Your physical body and spirit are aligned in harmony.

Do you spend most of your time in your sweet spot or do events, thoughts, and fears pull you off balance and out of true?

You work here is to do what needs to be done to line yourself up again and again with the amazing flow of energy, the inspiration, the delight and clarity of your sweet spot. This is where the things you care about get done! Effortlessly!

Can you catch yourself before you lean too far off center, before you get too far from your sweet spot? One way is to create a daily practice for yourself to keep yourself in balance.

Devise a ritual that helps you line up and place yourself fully in the center of your life, where your power lies, where you belong! You will be amazed!

Many humans are called at this time to step into their full power, to line up with their light and live fully in their sweet spot for the blessing of this earth. Will you?

Helping others

Have you read that caring for others is the highest good? This refrain has been repeated so often with such piety that many believe this to be gospel! To be a saint is to deny the self and care for others, to sacrifice your own desires for others.

I am here to tell you that this idea must be questioned and tested. Your true purpose comes from within and cannot be imposed upon you by others, or by some rules and codes of conduct devised in ancient times.

The highest good in life is to be fully yourself, to line up with your purpose, your light and power. Perhaps your divine purpose is to be a light for others to help guide them… and perhaps your true purpose does not involve caring for others.

Dear ones, you can help others, if you are called to do so, by allowing them to access and know their own power, to discern their purpose, to draw on their own inner resources. You job is not to hold others up with your own strength or to rescue or to save them.

You are to line up with your light first and foremost. In this way, you will find your true and sacred purpose. Do this and you will thrive!  Those closest to you will thrive as well!

You can feel better!

Over the years of your life, energy, inspirations, emotions, feelings, ideas, thoughts, fears that you block and deny and push down have nowhere else to go but to stay in your energy field. The energies that makes up these thoughts get stuck, build up and accumulate like heavy storm clouds.

If you are sensitive, you feel the extra weight, the heaviness. Does it hold you back, press you down like a weighted blanket, a back pack full of stones?

It is not your work to carry this weight. You can clear and release it with patience, courage, commitment.

Foreign substances in your body will not solve the problem, will not clear the clouds, but only allow you to pretend for a short time.

Tap into your emotions, the buried ones, the old and stale ones, the emotions that flash through when something triggers you. You must focus and feel the emotions within you. You do not have to react to them. Simply feeling and acknowledging is enough.

The emotion is not you, it is energy that is meant to flow through you.  I am telling you, you can feel better!

Find help if the emotions feel overwhelming. It is like learning to walk, learning to read. This is a life-saving skill you can learn, and it will set you free.
