Getting Real!

High anxiety and stress seem very common in the human world. What is anxiety but an energetic message to you that your life is out of balance in some way?

Can you live more simply and more in tune with your body, more aligned with the rhythms of nature to bring yourself back into balance between body mind and spirit?

Rushing, worrying, trying to beat the clock and cram many activities into a finite amount of time, constant busyness, constant pressure to look “good”, to measure up, to perform to even higher standards, to acquire and organize and clean more things, to ignore your feelings, to attend to your shiny beeping and blinking objects, to allow those objects to dictate a measure of your reality – these and similar habits cause anxiety to root even deeper in your life.

Can you catch yourself as you buy into black and white thinking of should, ought, or must have, must do? Pay attention to these traps of thought that increase your anxiety levels.

For the health of your life and the life of the planet, slow down, pay attention to yourself, your body your senses. Pay attention to the healing and calming vibrations of nature.

Learn to get real!

Breathe mindfully and create space in your day for the real and true you. Discern your true needs and wants by quieting the mind and listening to the voices of your heart and spirit.

Give the voice of spirit attention for this is your best guidance for a balanced life. Your heart and spirit will not instruct you to go along with current trends, crowds influencers, glossy images you try to live up to. Spirit will show you only what is right and true for you.

In this way, you can access the deep liberating wisdom of your heart that knows only how to be real.

Calming Through the Heart

Do you feel stuck with no escape, ungrounded and flighty? Are old addictions coming back to haunt you during the pandemic and the times of social distancing and isolation?

I offer another way to calm and soothe yourself in times of high anxiety.

Find a quiet and calm space and get comfortable. Take a few deep breaths to settle yourself. Now bring your awareness from your monkey mind with its whirring machinery of worry and fear, its endless capacity for self argument, the unkind inner critic, the constant mindless chatter, the never ending ego complaints to the peace of your heart.

Tune into the gentle beat, the quiet rhythm. You might be able to feel your pulse by gently placing a hand on your neck right below where the ear and jaw meet.

Now hold your heart with both palms on the center of your chest. Imagine that you can breathe through your heart. Feel the exhalation, the emptying. Imagine the breath flowing from your heart, releasing the stale worries, the old thoughts that bring you down, spent energy you are ready to let go of.

Now as your lungs fill, know that you are bringing in fresh new air, new energy, new possibilities to your heart, the seat and center of your life.

Tune into the steadiness the cadence of your heartbeat that’s been with you since before your birth. Even before your heart began to beat, you knew your mother’s heartbeat, and before her birth she knew her mother’s heartbeat, the underlying rhythm, the legacy of life.

Trust that right now as your heart beats you are alive. You are safe. You belong here.

Dear ones, we can feel that the energy you call anxiety is contagious. You feel it and pick it up from each other. It is in the air, so to speak. In the atmosphere around an anxious person.

Those on a similar wavelength tune in and the red frenetic energy you call anxiety spreads to the other like a virus. It is like what you call panic, and can spread like fire through a family or group of people.

This does not help anyone! It saps your strength and power, distracts you from your inner light, as you are felled by the churning in your gut, the tense neck, the heart that hurts, the throat that closes up…

My dears, you do not have to be imprisoned by these feelings of anxiety. Learn to breathe deeply from the belly. The heaviness you feel will clear like clouds before a breeze. Run, swim, walk, move. You are meant to move! Dance. You must move as much as you can, to be fully who you are meant to be. Your body is not designed to be still!

All feelings must move, all beings, all energies must move! If not, you become stagnant like the smelly water backed up in the creek on a hot summer day.

Surround yourselves with people who light you up! Hug a tree like me and imagine your roots growing deep in the earth as if pulled be a magnet to her core. Then feel the stability when the winds of emotion blow. You are anchored and nothing can knock you down.

Trees and rooted things do not know anxiety or worry,doubt or fear. We can be an example to you! Are you open to that?

Put your hands on your heart and breathe deeply. In this way you calm yourself and soothe yourself. Know that in this exact moment place and time you are safe.

What are you waiting for?

It is time to get off the mark, out of your seat, and let the inspiration that fills your being move you to act! When you are inspired and connected to source, the acts you are moved to will ring true, fall into place with ease, be in your highest good and the highest good of the planet.

When you are in accord with your heart and allow the fearful ego voice to fade into the background, your actions will bless this earth and all living creatures.

So, what are you waiting for?

If fear and loathing keep you frozen and motionless, do what you can to soothe your fears and calm your anxiety. Do not allow your life to pass you by because of fear!

Your true power comes through when your will and divine will line up. Then you feel the energy and inspiration fill your body. Then you can tap into the great power at your center, the divine purpose you have come to express.

Let your light shine brightly!

Mass Consciousness

Through the millennia humans have walked the earth, your ancestor’s fear, anxiety, and feelings of dread have built up and accumulated exponentially, multiplying in the people and in the environment.

At first the feelings came in response to danger – a storm, a dangerous hunt, a predator. The fear was quickly here then gone. As life became more complex, with more humans living close together in settlements and cities, the energy of dread and fear became overwhelming and difficult to clear. The feelings themselves became taboo, frowned upon.

“You must be brave!” “You must not think that way!” “You must be strong!” “You must not be angry!”

The feelings, being energy, did not simply vanish into thin air, but began to build up like cumulus storm clouds on the horizon. Every generation added their own burden to the mass consciousness.

Now we are enveloped in haze, a thick cloud cover of anxiety, unease, fear – a legacy from the past. It continues to press you down with its heavy weight and affect all living beings on this earth.

Dear ones, you do not have to be crushed under this burden. You can release the feelings of anxiety as you find a safe, compassionate loving way to transmute your stuck feelings.

You can shield yourself from the anxiety of others and the fear of mass consciousness. If you do not know how to do this, find a healer that will help you transmute and clear your energy.

When you do this, the world will change, the world will become a safer, more harmonious, more loving place.
