Rediscover peace

When fear in your body feels too much, when the voices of doom and gloom and ugly rants on the news on social media get you down, when you can’t settle, when your head is filled with anxiety, go outside if you can.

You will feel more clarity and greater calm when you go outside without your shiny device, your ear buds, your blinking object.

If it is not safe to go outside, to breathe the air, imagine yourself in your favorite spot in nature. Use your inner vision to go to a place you love and feel completely safe and comfortable.

Move in comforting ways, walk slow or fast, swing your arms, breathe in the fresh air, move through the shifting shade under old and friendly trees, notice the sights sound smells and the feel of your chosen place on this Earth.

Let your awareness reside in your heart, your body, your senses. Let thoughts from your logical mind and the demands of your ego float in and out like clouds, knowing they are not reality. Do not give them any power by clutching or grasping onto them.

Notice the colors of your world, the flow of the creek or river, the animals and birds, the plant life, the clouds, sky patterns, tree growth, the blooming flowers.

Feel your feet meeting Mother Earth. Feel her support of you. Feel your lungs filling and emptying as your chest rises and falls. Feel the movement of your limbs swinging in rhythm.

Feel the energy of fear leaving your being with each out breath. Feel anxiety melting away as you hug and lean on a friendly tree, letting the tree with deep roots support your weight and connect your heart to the heart of the Earth.

Let the weight of your worries drain away into the earth for this moment. Mother Earth will neutralize the energy of excess fear, anxiety, and dread.

You may be absorbing unpleasant emotional energy from the collective mind, from other people and groups. Let it go! Let it drain away into the Earth. It is not yours to carry.

When you can get out of your head and spend time in nature, you can rediscover peace.

What holds you back?

What heavy anchor keeps you from floating? What ballast keeps you from soaring?

What ties you down and limits the work that spirit can do in your life?

Are old fears keeping you stuck? Do you fear change? Does comfort in the familiar , the known even when it is mind numbing and soul crushing keep you in place?

To let go and move forward, you must gather your courage, trust in your intuition, trust in source and release your grip on the shore of the comfortable and the known. Put yourself in the current, the flow of life once again.

This is your life! You are the sculptor, the creator of your experience! Don’t let fear hold you back!

Move forward one step, one heartbeat at a time in the direction of your dreams.

Healing fear

We (nature and tree spirits) are the observers. We observe by sensing your energy without judgment. We feel when you are anxious, when you are sad or grieving. We feel your joy, your buoyancy, and delight. We also feel your fear.

Heavy clouds in late summer

 

When many of you feel and tap into a widespread fear vibration, it chokes off your connection to the earth energy and heavenly light energy that sustains life. It affects all living things around you; it hurts you.

Collective fear damages the web of all things. It creates an ugly rift in the beautiful patterns that are meant to be. It can hollow you out.

Get to know your personal fear. Does it come from outside or inside of you? Where do you feel it in your body? What sensations are created in your body?

Have others planted this fear in you for their own agenda? Does it resonate with your existing worries and those of your family?  Do your thoughts and beliefs support this fear? Are they true?  Examine them!

Slowly begin to shift to more loving peaceful thoughts and beliefs, more supportive of the harmonious life you wish to live.  Find the tiniest threads each day of gratitude, of satisfaction, of  contentment and follow them back to the calm at your center.

As you shift from fear to peace you reweave the web of all things. Those around you will feel the shift to a more peaceful vibration as well.

Early spring Robin

At times it is right to let go, to release your hold, just as trees in autumn drop leaves to prepare for winter. You may simply need to release your grip on all the details of your life for a time- All the worries, fears, all the tickly and prickly little things that make your brain race in circles with no finish line in sight.

Let your brain rest. Be content. Allow yourself to be empty.

Change gear, unplug from the shiny blinking objects that demand so much of you, that suck the joy and life from you. Lay on the sweet cool earth, nestle your body against the trunk of a sturdy tree, put your ear to the soil, hear the rhythm and heart beat of the earth. Know that you are meant to be here, are beloved. You don’t need to prove yourself by constant action that frazzles your nerves and wipes you out.
