If you came here in a human body, you have made mistakes.  That is part of the human program.  Forgive yourself!

If you need a new direction in life, allow yourself to slow down and turn toward the life path and choices that light you up, that fill you with inspiration, that satisfy your soul. 

Reweave your web!

Let your spirit guide you.  Know that spirit guides you through your feelings.  If something or someone lights you up, move in that direction. If you feel depleted, exhausted, and down every day, reconsider what you are doing and who you are with.

Bless your mistakes for they have shown when you have veered off course from your true desires

Bless your mistakes for they have given you a reason to start fresh.

Bless your mistakes for they will help you clarify what is important and what is not important to you.

Bless the light and dark of you, the “right and wrong” of you, the parts of you that you hide and those you show.  Bless your weaknesses and strengths, your rest (do you call it laziness?) and activity your body and spirit, for all things are one within this vast and infinite universe.

Your heart knows your oneness, your connection to all things, your potential.  So, do not judge yourself for being human.  Allow your mistakes and missteps to guide you to the life you desire!

 

 

 

Focus on your purpose

Do you get pulled like a magnet to the agenda and needs of others or do you set your own course and steer according to your stars?

You may think it is kind and loving to help, to support, to sacrifice your goals and dreams, your unrepeatable moments for the sake of others. But my dear, when you focus so fully on others, you are not living in the magnificent current of power and light that is your birthright, your highest good. Those you sacrifice for will never know their true power or inner strength.

My dear ones, decide what you can do for your family, friends, loved ones without resentment, without giving up your dreams, without becoming a shadow of who you are meant to be.

Yes, there may be times you must focus on helping others when they are in crisis, but those times must not eclipse and overwhelm your commitment to yourself.

Focus on your dearest dreams, goals and inspirations first. Do for others in ways that strengthen you and them. If you feel depleted, you are giving too much.

The source of all being has plans for you that coincide with your deepest desires. Let your divine purpose be the central focus of your life.

Pay attention!

When you pay attention, you invest in your health and well-being.

Attention is being fully present and observing the sensations of your body, the feelings and emotions that flow through you, the thoughts that move through like clouds on a breezy spring day. It is observing what is – without opinion, perceiving the deep knowings within your heart that lie beneath the noisy surface chatter of daily life.

Attention is gentle focus without wavering, a disengaging of the brain, for the brain will talk you out of anything!

Attention is engaging a clear eyed focus on what is – without the running commentary, judgment, minimizing, fooling yourself, criticism, denial, delusion, propaganda, image management, or any of the tricks your brain can devise to pull you away from your true power.

When you attend without judgment to what is, you give yourself an amazing gift of clarity, of peace. You can release worry and fear and discover lightness of being.

Pay attention and taste the sweetness of this moment!

One time the two-legged one went on a plane trip during a late winter storm. On the ground dense clouds blanketed the sky and high winds blew icy shards of snow. Within minutes after taking off, the plane broke through the cloud layer to an ocean of sunlight and crystal clear air.

My dears, do you ever simply relax into the blue sky of your mind? It lies beyond the clouds, the storms and turbulence of your habitual thoughts and worries; the ever whirling tapes that continue to play and rewind, play and rewind.

This ocean of light is always available to you. Know it and trust that no matter how bleak the storm you can find the clarity and light that lies above and beyond it.

This light is the backdrop, the foundation of all that is. This is the still quiet sky-mind. It is beyond language, beyond thought, beyond feeling. It is simply the basis of your being.

Find this place within yourself in meditation. If meditation makes you crazy, focus on your breathing. Begin easily, focusing on your breath for five seconds, then build up to 10, 15, 30 seconds. Soon you will be able to let your attention rest on your breath for minutes at a time. As you take in and release air, know that you are one with all living things on this planet.

If your attention is hijacked by feelings or thoughts acknowledge them like clouds rolling across a blue sky and return to your breath. Your thoughts and feelings are not you, do not define you, but are simply moving energy. Like every storm they will pass and the sky will clear.
