Reflections

I see and feel failing ash trees. They are losing vitality, declining and dying as an out-of-control insect invades and destroys with no boundaries, no sense that when it kills the host trees it will no longer be able to survive.

This insect survives now, but will ultimately destroy its own home and food supply.

This is nature reflecting the human state of mind and state of health. This no boundaries, destroy everything in your path dynamic takes place on a global scale, as Humans declare war on others and destroy their own habitat with little regard for the long term consequences.

Nature also reflects the human state of mind in the weather…

Do you store up toxic and stormy emotions in your personal atmosphere, letting them build into cyclones, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes of tantrums and violence? Are you or those in your family or city easily triggered into fury?

I’m here to tell you that you can clear yourselves and release the clouds as they accumulate and before they become heavy and ominous with many layers of fear and anger.

You can learn to calm and clear yourself before the emotional storms overtake you. Ask for help if it feels too difficult, too overwhelming.

Yes, I understand you don’t want to… think you can’t… prefer to be in denial… don’t want to do the work… are scared to do it…don’t have the money…don’t have the time…insert your habitual excuse here…

Let me tell you that your healing matters not only to you, but to your family, your city, your planet. The actions you take, the decisions you make will affect and reflect in our Earth for years to come.

Will you choose healing, or will you choose to be paralyzed by fear?

When you are able to face the facts and difficulties in your life head on, with courage and tenacity, when you are able to clear and heal your emotions and learn to deal with them in a healthy way, your life will improve dramatically, your health will improve, you will begin to love your life once again!

The Collective Unconscious

The collective unconscious is made up of the energy of ancient emotions and memories– fear, anger, anxiety, traumas from all of human history, built up over thousands of years. It is like a floating cloud of fog a person can get lost in without knowing it.

So much has changed for you humans since time began. Living conditions have gone from rude shelters made of stone, grass or wood to comfortable lavish and beautifully furnished homes with climate control at the touch of a button. Infections and disease that once killed millions have been eradicated or contained.

Yet, the emotions that affect the bodies, hearts and minds of humanity are exactly the same as they were at the beginning of time, when humans began their do it yourself improvements otherwise known as civilization.

Think about this! The energy vibrations of fear anxiety, despair, grief, and loss from an ancient war can still resonate with the conditions of your world and your life today.

They resonate with your current emotions because the energy of those old emotional clouds match exactly the frequency of the newly generated emotions. In this way you tap into the sea of emotional fog left behind by all who’ve come before.

These vibrational frequencies are part of the collective unconscious, the legacy of your ancestors and your history here on earth.

When you are overwhelmed by fear and anxiety and it feels too huge for one person, you may have tapped into the collective unconscious, Do not allow yourself to drown in the ocean of despair left behind by your ancestors.

Find a new emotional frequency that brings you contentment and peace; one that allows you to focus on the challenges of your life and to heal them with love and the inspired action. This will help you extricate yourself from the sea of fog.

Focus on those thoughts, actions and beliefs that help you feel better!

These ancient and heavy burdens are not yours to carry. You can contribute new thoughts new insights new ways of being and acting to the web of life.

This will lift you up beyond the clouds of left-over fear and reweave the web of life and bring light to the collective unconscious.

Live in the light

Do you feel there is a weakness, a stigma in asking for and receiving help when you are down? Do you feel that others will judge you unworthy?

When you are grieving or sad, when anger and resentment get the better of you, when you are overwhelmed by your feelings, do you feel that you must go it alone, tough it out, grit your teeth and be tough, keep your emotions in check, put on a happy face?

You are not meant to live isolated from each other, separate, apart, trying to move mountains of grief, sadness, depression alone.

My dears, I fear this strategy will keep you stuck and unhappy, that your life will be so much smaller, duller, and grayer than it could be otherwise.

No it is not easy! But you did not come to earth in a body for a life of constant ease. You came with a purpose.

When your old baggage interferes with your true life’s purpose, when you find yourself stuck and unable to move forward, can you allow yourself to receive love and compassion?

Can you find a loving friend, caring therapist or healer to help you lighten your emotional burdens and free yourself from the weight you carry?

Allowing yourself to be vulnerable, to admit you are human, will help you get back on your true path of life lived in the light.

When you ask for and receive help, your life can begin to shine in full color once again.

Waves of emotion

My dear beloved ones, do you flow with the rhythms, cycles and seasons of your lives, or do you resist them and run your life by the clock, the work schedule, the calendar, or the convenience of others? Life is so much easier when you allow yourself to be as nature in her ageless wisdom created you.

It feels wonderful to ride the wave of your life as it rises, crests and peaks in periods of well-being, happiness and maybe even joy…

The wave you are riding may at times dip downward into the shadows, into a place you may not have been before. Perhaps the wave takes you to a place of darkness, of strong emotions, grief, or illness.

Can you remain steadfast as you pay attention to the energy that wants and needs to move through you? Can you be still and allow yourself to feel what you feel? Can you focus on your breath and heartbeat as you feel?

(Ask for help from a healer, therapist or friend if you are feeling overwhelmed…)

In time you will rise back up into the light, renewing and recharging yourself, rediscovering your passions, reinventing your life – like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly!

It is in the nature of waves to rise and fall, then rise again.

The cycle of life comes around once more as day follows night. It can assist you in letting go of the old tired ways of being, washing through you, clearing you of the unhealthy patterns and feelings you’ve held onto. Know that, like the moon, you will move into the light once again and shine brightly!

All this is life, dear one. Hang on for the ride!

More about emotional healing

Do you get caught up in the small things, the psychic debris, the junk drawers of life that claim your focus and direct you down blind alleys, backwaters and dead ends of overthinking, worry, numbing and time wasting?

Millions of videos at your fingertips? Sugary treats? Just one more beer? Endless TV?

Dear ones, what is beneath all this? What do you send to the backroom of your heart and mind? What are you avoiding? Does your body provide clues with pain, stiffness, illness, loss of function, decreasing mental clarity? Do you find yourself stumbling, falling, breaking bones?

Feeling your feelings won’t kill you, cripple you, make you sick or weaken you. Stuffing and ignoring them will hurt you! Your feelings are meant to move and flow through you.

Find help if this seems overwhelming! You are meant to be clear and live fully!

Letting your feelings flow with empathy, understanding and self compassion will set you free!

Emotional Healing 2

Does fear reside in your body? Where do you feel it? It is in your gut, heart heart… do you feel it in your throat?

Are there other emotions that live in your body?

Can you sit with this and notice what happens as you tune into the feeling? What happens in your body? What happens to the feeling as you sit quietly noticing it in your heart, your stomach, your jaw…?

Take the time, make space In your life to truly love yourself. Feel your feelings with compassion, without judging or trying to control anything.

It is safe to feel! If it frightens you, ask for help on your healing path. Do this in private or with a trusted friend, healer or counselor.

No frowning adult will punish or make fun of you for crying sobbing, or feeling your true feelings as someone might have done when you were a child…

To live at your full capacity, it is vital to feel what is moving through you, to allow the energy of emotion to pass through your body like ocean waves. All waves start small, build and build, finally peak, then release and dissolve into the water around them.

When you learn to accept and feel your emotions, you are learning self love!

Emotional healing I

Note from Betty: Dear friends, GCW has a lot to say about emotional healing this month. This and the next two posts are variations on that theme.

Dear ones, do not carry the past forward, for it will accumulate and pile up like thunderheads on a windy spring day. It will weigh you down more and more as you grow older.

Let each moment of your life be new. Let the moments of yesterday, last year, decades ago be healed and released. Do not carry the old stale feelings forward for they will taint your present moments.

To let them go, feel them, experience them for that is to live fully in the moment. Listen to your body, do a scan and notice where you feel the emotion. It could be your throat, heart, gut… anywhere.

There is no need to blast a person you are angry with. Anger and other strong emotions need not be harmful to you or others. Use it as fuel for a passionate life!

Love yourself and feel what you feel. You can use your voice to express the emotion, to safely and privately release.

If you let yourself experience your emotions in your body then you will not carry it forward into your future as a dark storm cloud waiting to burst when you least expect it.

Let each moment of your life be sacred as you pay attention to what you are feeling with compassion and self love.

Learn to feel

Dear ones, some of the humans who pass by my patch of earth seem to live trapped within dark clouds. I can sense this density, and can feel it as a vibration on the wind and air even from many hundreds of yards away.

Heavy storm clouds

The dark clouds some carry along keep them always feeling down, wishing and wondering why they can’t feel better, feeling that they are carrying a heavy weight.

When other humans come near, they too are affected by the overcast conditions of those with heavy energy and a dark mood. Even though invisible, it has substance, a reality others can sense.

You can’t really hide. Your energy doesn’t lie!

Many of you humans have been told a lie: “Showing, feeling, and expressing emotions is an unacceptable weakness. Emotions must be suppressed.”

When you believe this lie and stuff your feelings, they just build up like storm clouds, growing denser and darker in your energy field. They do not disappear or dissolve just because you don’t like them and want to deny or ignore them. They do not miraculously vanish into thin air never to be heard from again.

Your emotions are not you – they are energy that needs to move through you.

It is vital to face these storm clouds and feel them so they can begin to move and finally dissipate. There may be turbulence ahead as you do this, so ask for help and support. As you find the courage and inner power to let yourself feel, to bring light into the dark, you will begin to feel lighter and lighter. Your health and well-being will improve.

You are meant to be a being of light and power. For maximum health, learn to feel your emotions and let them move through you.

Clearing

Dear ones, can you clear the clutter – physical and emotional, from your life a little at a time?   If it’s built up over a long time, go slowly, get used to the feelings of space and clarity little by little.

And when I say clear the clutter, I don’t mean shove all that old stuff under the bed, under a rug, into the closet until it won’t close, or throw it in the basement or garage where you don’t have to look at it every day…

I mean deal with it!  Choose to keep, donate or throw away the stuff. Take responsibility for your space!  The energy of your life cannot flow freely in a space with piles of dusty, unused and forgotten objects.  It restricts you and hems you in…  limits your possibilities…

Take it one newspaper, one piece of clothing, one old book at a time if you need to!

When I say clear emotional clutter, I don’t mean stuff the emotions so you appear fine on the surface, or put on a happy face when you are depressed, or be nice to someone you can’t stomach… I mean one at a time, letting your emotions just be, feeling them in your body, getting used to how your emotional energy needs and wants to move through you.  Then, with courage, feel it and let it move.  You will feel more and more clear!

Don’t over do it…  go easy, a little at a time.  As you do this, your emotions will feel intense at first, then shift and dissolve and eventually you will feel more clear, lighter, less weighed down by life.  Ask for help and support if you need it!

In this way, you can heal your life!

Fill yourself

When you feel an empty place inside, a feeling of envy, malice, a bottomless fear, you’ve tapped into a “negative space”, a void. Only you can fill and heal these voids and vacant places in your psyche.

Alcohol, smoking, food, mind altering drugs, sex, money will not fill these voids. They may help you forget, ignore, or pretend they don’t exist for a time, but soon the void will reappear, yawning, dark and bottomless.

The only way to wholeness is for you to face the void and empty places within you, acknowledge them, breathe, and fill them with self compassion, with loving energy, color, healing sounds, with light that fills and permeates and illuminates the dark places, and dissolves the shadows.

This love and healing energy must come from your center, the spark of spirit within you. You must kindle and tend your inner flame, for no-one else knows your true heart, your true center as you do.

Ask to be made whole with the energies of light and love. You will be shown the way.

In this way, you can gradually heal yourself and heal your spirit. Ask for help if you feel overwhelmed. You are not alone!

Fill yourself to overflowing with light. Know that is enough.
