Does fear reside in your body? Where do you feel it? It is in your gut, heart heart… do you feel it in your throat?

Are there other emotions that live in your body?

Can you sit with this and notice what happens as you tune into the feeling? What happens in your body? What happens to the feeling as you sit quietly noticing it in your heart, your stomach, your jaw…?

Take the time, make space In your life to truly love yourself. Feel your feelings with compassion, without judging or trying to control anything.

It is safe to feel! If it frightens you, ask for help on your healing path. Do this in private or with a trusted friend, healer or counselor.

No frowning adult will punish or make fun of you for crying sobbing, or feeling your true feelings as someone might have done when you were a child…

To live at your full capacity, it is vital to feel what is moving through you, to allow the energy of emotion to pass through your body like ocean waves. All waves start small, build and build, finally peak, then release and dissolve into the water around them.

When you learn to accept and feel your emotions, you are learning self love!

You can feel better!

Dear ones, you do not need to spend your life feeling bad, guilty, less than, sick at heart, depressed…

I, Grandmother Cottonwood can feel your vibrations as you walk past. I feel the dancing, lively, fun, sweet energy of those who feel good, and the heavy muddy, swampy energy of those that feel bad.

My dears, with patience, practice, perseverance, and self compassion you may shift your daily emotional tone to one that lifts you up out of the muddy feelings, gives you hope and clarity, allows you to know your inner strength.

This is your true nature. You no longer need to hold yourself back, keep yourself repressed, dim your light to make others feel better, to fit in with the family or group of friends. Take heart, loved ones, for you and only you are in charge of the emotional climate of your life.

Take easy steps, stay with it, notice and replace thoughts that hurt with something that feels a little better, make this a habit, then replace that with a new more uplifting thought. Take the time you need.

Make these new thoughts a habit. As you do this, your vibrations will rise. Toxins will be released from body, mind and spirit. You will feel better in all ways, and you will see a shift in the world around you.

Make feeling good your highest priority and you will bless yourself and this world.

Take care of yourself!

I mean, really! Give yourself exactly what you need, what makes your soul sing and your heart soar! Don’t wait for others to do this for you, for that will never happen!

I say that giving to yourself is vital to your health and the health of this planet and the web of all that is.

Listen to yourself, listen to your body, become aware of what your body is communicating to you. Give it love and attention, loving touch, kind regard, acceptance.

Give yourself compassion, understanding, kindness, time and space to breathe, time to be.

Give yourself soothing when you need it, true friends; surround yourself with beauty, the colors your heart desires, time in nature, the music that moves you, a comfortable and peaceful home, good nourishing food.

Give yourself a healthy fit body, lifelong learning and growth, new exciting ideas, stimulating challenges to solve.

Give yourself deep rich soil, earth energy, sunlight, moonlight, starlight, strong deep roots, a magnificent crown of sweet green leaves, glimmering in the breeze.

Allow yourself to know your strong unbreakable connection to source.

Please know that you do not need to spend a penny  or go into debt to take care of yourself.  Begin at your center to give yourself the love and kind regard of which you are worthy. 

Allow and grant yourself what you need to be happy, healthy, to be a shimmering light in the web of all creation.  No matter what your history, you can move toward the light by caring for yourself, knowing you belong, knowing you deserve to thrive!

You are a dragon slayer

What you are presented with emotionally in this life can be healed in this life. To do this, you must engage all your awareness, your will, heart and power, and face those patterns and thoughts with courage and trust in your resilience.

Changing weather

You who truly seek healing, transformation and wholeness begin on an amazing hero’s journey of discovery. You will confront pain, you will confront your deepest fears. They are like dragons and you are the brave dragon slayer.

With courage and attention, you will find that the dragons are simply illusions – all puffed up but with no real substance behind them – like inflatable outdoor holiday figures when the power is cut off. They deflate and lay useless on the ground.

Cut off the power supply to heal emotional dragons by paying attention with courage, observing with compassion, staying with it, persevering for your health and transformation.
