How much longer?

2015-06-06 10.56.13

A of Central Iowa wants to know:

Q. How much longer does the human race have?

A. My dear A, have you been watching too much TV news? Have you allowed the despair and fear of others to seep into your heart and mind and bones? Open your heart and see the beauty, the joy, the wonder that is all around you. Turn the “dial”. Don’t be part of their “ratings game”.

At your center lies joy. Tune into that channel! Let it flow through you. Feel it and soon you will tune the sensitive web of all that is away from despair toward the energy of joy. Your small shift will have impact on the web that you cannot imagine! Your feelings make a difference. Your world is woven through feeling. It begins within you and moves outward in waves, affecting everything and everyone in your experience. Find reasons to laugh and smile every day! Chose to! Find reasons to love every day! Choose to!

Find reasons to simply enjoy this beautiful exquisite planet we inhabit! And take your place in the amazing web of all life in which nothing is forgotten or left behind.

For a GCW approved experiment, choose to feel good for at least five minutes or one hour, or a whole day if you can, no matter what happens around you or on the news. See the effect on the others in your life; your children and husband, your neighbors, your town, and most of all you. Now repeat this experiment. Often!

Why do people have to grow up?

Sweet baby

Sweet baby

F, age 6, of Des Moines, Iowa asks:

Q. Why do people have to grow up?

A. From the time you were a tiny sparkle of love inside your mother’s body, you have been growing. Look at your baby pictures – the picture of your first bath. You are no longer the size and shape of a baby! You were perfect then, and you are perfect now!

Do you feel sad about leaving your kindergarten? Do you think you need to be crabby & unhappy, and tired and boring when you are a grownup? You will never be any of those things when you listen to your heart!

Welcome to your life! My dear, you are like a flower that has roots and lives many years. Each year, it sends up leaves and a stalk, a bud that unfolds and blossoms. Underground where you can’t see, the roots spread so new plants can grow. Just like the plants and flowers, when you are done with something old, something new will grow from you. Something wonderful! Something that you will love!

All of life is designed to grow and change. It is your turn to be the child. One day it will be your turn to be the teenager, then the mother, then the grandmother. But remember, the part of you that is invisible never never grows old! It is baby, child, teenager, mother, and grandmother all at the same time. The invisible part of you loves being alive! It feels pure joy!

You are a blessing to this earth. You are here because of love. You are dearly loved.

Emotions

Flowing stream

Flowing stream

E of central Iowa asks:

Q. How do you interpret human emotions from your tree’s perspective?

A. I see colors and light around people. Some are bright, some flowing and sparkling, some are dull and gray, some seem stuck and stagnant. It can appear like a rainbow or dark clouds enveloping the body.

What you call emotions is a flow, an energy that is meant to move and constantly changes and refreshes like a swiftly moving stream. If the stream slows and stops flowing in places, the water becomes unhealthy, smelly, ugly. It is just so with the energies of emotion that move through you.

If you stop the flow of your emotions by swallowing, ignoring, stuffing, denying, hiding, or lying about them, they will eventually cause unease within you and perhaps a stagnation of the body. They are energy and can’t be destroyed. They will not go away even if you don’t like them and don’t want them. Those you hide from yourself will eat you alive unless you learn to accept them all and thereby accept and love yourself – the entire spectrum of who you are from the intense red of anger to the sparkling violet of pure love and joy.

Know and love yourself, for you and all your energies are beloved.

Restoring balance

M of West Des Moines, Iowa writes

Q. What else can I do to help heal the trees and earth and restore balance?

A. Restore balance within your circles of influence.

First restore balance within your beautiful self. Accept the light and dark of you, the anger and joy of you, the push and pull of you, the contradictions in you, the parts of you you suppress. You are all of it and it is all good, it is meant to flow.

Second, restore balance within your home; the spaces you inhabit. Are some spaces heavy with cluttered things and dense energy? Are other clear, light and airy? Bring flowing moving energy in to all of it. Balance empty space with objects, weight with lightness, motion with stillness.

Third, restore balance in your relationships. Do you give too much, and receive less in return? Do you let others trample your boundaries? Do you allow yourself time alone? Balance time together, and time alone, giving and receiving, winning and winning, speech and silence…

Your influence on the web of creation is profound, even though you may feel you are but a speck of dust in the vast and trackless universe. Every movement you make in the direction of balance adjusts the entire web of all that is toward balance and harmony.

Flow your powerful love to all that is and it is reflected back to you magnificently.

Will I achieve my dreams?

M. of central Texas asks:

Q. I’m 18 years old. I was told that by the time I’m 30, I’ll be a family man with a nice house and a college degree. I want these things, yet I’m not sure I’ll make it. Will this happen for me?

A. My dear M, you are blessed with a vivid imagination. Put it to work! Can you imagine each of these blessing coming true for you? How will you feel? What is the feeling of being a stable family man? Where do you feel this in your body? Revel in the feelings and focus on them. Make the feelings real.

Who do you know that has done what you want to do?  What was their path? How did they make the vision in their head and heart into reality?  Talk to them and learn from them.

Only you can create these blessings in your life. You create through your feeling, your thoughts, the pictures in your mind, your actions and your focus. Doubt and fear and hopelessness create more of the same and steer you away from your vision. If you feel them, be kind to yourself and acknowledge them. Then find a way to tune back in to the loving expansive feelings you want to feel. Maybe the feelings are not so easy to imagine because all this is new for you. You are inventing your life, one moment at a time! If you make a mistake as all humans do, dust yourself off and learn from the experience.

There is a place in your that knows with certainty that you can achieve your dreams. Act from this place.

May all blessings flow to you.

Invasive weeds

Invasive weed or exquisite wildflower?

B of Ames, Iowa wants to know:

Q. Is there anything natural I can do to discourage invasive weeds in my yard?

A. Focus on the plants you want, nurture and strengthen them and the soil that supports their growth.

Fighting and battling and warring with those you don’t want increases their strength and you start seeing them everywhere and accuse them of invading. Next you are planning your campaign, spending more time, energy, and money rooting them out and creating your fictional “perfection”. For what?

Do you suspect yourself of imperfection? Are you afraid the neighbors will discern your secret? That you are flawed? Give it up! Relax and get a life. Swing in a hammock. Enjoy a little of the minty scent of creeping charlie. Revel in the velvety softness of your growing things in springtime; the sweet intoxicating scent of white clover; the variety of life forms that dwell at your feet and bless you with the fresh green spirits.

Accept it all. Love it all. Find the best in it to focus on and appreciate with all your heart!

Will something bad happen?

P of Central Iowa asks

Q. Is there something that is negatively impacting nature that humans don’t know about yet?

A. Everything affects everything else. If nature is negatively affected by your thoughts, words, actions, then you are also negatively affected. Pay attention to what is in your control, not the details of a possible future scenario you won’t like if it comes to pass.

Attend to your actions, keep them in harmony with the wholeness of all that is. Know that you are an integral part of all that is; that no-one, nothing is separate or alone. If you think you are separate and can operate by rules that you have invented, the web will reflect an imbalance to you. It may be feelings of unease or something stronger.

Attend to your words, for words carry the energy of your intentions. Align your words with the world you wish to create. Your words can bless our earth with sweet joy, or curse it with ugliness. You are the chooser and creator.

Attend to your thoughts for they are also the energy by which the web of creation is woven. What do you desire your world to reflect to you? Move your thoughts in this direction. You are at the hub of the universe. Each and every one of you. You have creative power. Your actions, words and thoughts all affect the great web in which all things are one. The world you see before you is your own creation! Never underestimate your own power!

Is there something after death?

Burned tree

Burned tree

J of Ames, Iowa writes

Q. Is there something after death?

A. After the death of the body a spirit feels complete freedom, complete lightness, buoyancy, joy, release. The physical body has been surrendered to the decay of the physical world, but the spirit will never decay.

The spirits in all living things are released from fear sickness, envy, jealousy, injury, decline, hatred, self loathing, and loneliness after death. Only what is indestructible and eternal remains – the energy of the soul. That is at its heart the energy of love.

So when death comes in to your awareness, know that it is only the husk of the body that has died, know that the spirit lives on in a new form.  Know that communication is possible for there is no separation in the great web of all things.

Is there a God?

2013-01-01 00.00.00-149 J of Central Iowa asks:

Q. Is there a God?

A. There is no fierce Zeus reclining in the clouds above Mount Olympus, No Michelangelo figure surrounded by attractive and fit angels breathing life into humans, no golden chariot of the sun racing westward across the sky.

The imagination of humans has limits! Your depictions of God involve human attributes in one form or another. I think God should be depicted as magnificent tree! Perhaps a Cottonwood!

You cannot imagine the immensity, the infinity, the magnificence of all that is. All that is contains your ideas about God, your images and concepts.  All that is is the ever shifting web in which all things are one. It is constantly expanding, growing, responding to the energies of creation: to thoughts, feelings, emotions, desires, contained in every living thing. Your images and concepts of God are a part of what god is. Your solar system, and galaxies, the stuff of stars, your ingenious shiny creations, the feelings of your hearts and minds, the decaying leaves on the forest floor, the tiny seeds that promise renewed life, the exquisite interwoven systems of nature are all a part of what God is.

All is as it should be . All is constantly in motion. All that is is a reflection of what you call God. I am delighted, for we all get to take part in creating and defining this playful Universe!

When will I be ready?

C of Ames, Iowa writes

Q. When will I be ready to have a partner in my life?

A. Dear C, are you impatient for your partner to arrive? Do you fear he will never come? Do not fear for all things are one and will be reunited. Your desires have been received in the web of all things.

You could have a partner tomorrow, but what would he reflect back to you? While you wait for him to arrive, strengthen yourself by creating a partnership with yourself.

Do you wish your partner to look you in the eyes and say with feeling and sincerity “I love you”? Can you do this for yourself? Do you wish for good company, laughter and companionship? Can you do this for yourself? Do you wish for someone who will listen and understand your deepest desires and secrets and accept you? Can you do this for yourself?

Your partner is not meant to fill in where you feel weak or deficient. He is meant to mirror the best in you, the full hearted love, full throated voice, the wonder and beauty of you. What would you like your partner to reflect to you?

You will know you are ready when you feel whole and complete in yourself; when you trust, love and honor every aspect, every particle of your being – the light and dark in you; when you are comfortable with who you are at the heart of your being; when you love yourself deeply in all seasons, all weathers; when you learn what love is through loving yourself; when your heart has leaned how to access pure joy at the center of your being and see its reflection in those near you.
